Designer, Creator and Owner

Hi, I’m Cady. My love for working with metal started while attending Georgia State University. As an elective, I enrolled in a metalsmithing class, and I haven't looked back since. Hooked, I started creating pieces of jewelry for friends and family. After college I apprenticed with a local Atlanta jewelry store under a master jeweler. What started as an apprenticeship quickly grew to becoming a full-time bench jeweler doing custom fabrication and repair work. I truly loved the excitement of working in a busy shop and thrived on never knowing what I would be working on each day.  While there, I also managed the repair side of the shop, and implemented new, innovative ideas to improve both the studio as well as the store front. In doing so, I came to an important realization: I should be running my own company. Starting Hearth & Bellows has therefore been a long time coming, and I’m so grateful for all of my loyal customers, friends, family and husband who have supported me all along the way. I’m truly lucky to be able to do what I love day in and day out.
